Golden Hour
UGH!!! Idk about you, but there is just somethingg about golden hour in Texas... scratch that. There is just something about golden hour, in Texas, ON A FREAKING SAILBOAT.. with the love of your life?!?! I mean, comeeee onnnn. If you're a 2024 bride - why are you skimping on your engagement sessions?! THIS IS YOUR BRIDE ERA, BAYBE! You only get it once... sometimes twice (ahem! me). Regardless - this is your time to shine. And for this radiant bride-to-be, that meant shining and twirling on a sailboat during golden hour. You can't get much more epic than that.
Toasting to Love
I mean, sort of... we were more excited than just your average toast, okay? (Again, Bride Era...) We sprayed to love!! We shook that baby up and just had fun with it! I am not your average photographer which means this is not your average engagement session. My goal in every session is to document your love story as authentically as possible. This is easier said than done because the camera in your face and all (ha!). Good thing my job is curating a timeline beforehand, providing natural cues/prompts and giving you the space to move freely to have the best date ever! And me? Don't mind me. I'm just your personal paparazzi.
Taking the Plunge
I can't really express to you how important it is to just be in the moment... and trust your photographer. YOLO!!! AMIRIGHT?!?! Jordan and Bernardo took the phrase, "leap of faith" to spontaneously jump into the lake at the end of their session and ohemgeeeee (!!!) my photographer Pinterest dreams came alive!!! Did the drive home wet? Yes. Was it worth it?
Ab-so-freaking-lutely.
